Bhopal, October 11, 2025: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) today at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal. The three-day event is being organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and aims to position the state as a leading destination for both domestic and international tourism.
Joining the inauguration as a special guest will be Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
This year’s Travel Mart is expected to host over 700 participants, including more than 100 international tour operators from 27 countries, 150 domestic tour operators, 355 sellers, as well as representatives from the film industry and media.
As part of the event, the Chief Minister will also engage in one-on-one meetings with key delegates to discuss tourism-related investments, potential partnerships, and opportunities to strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s tourism ecosystem.
A significant highlight of the day will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Tourism Department and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at Bharat Bhavan. The collaboration is expected to focus on the development of infrastructure, services, and public amenities around ASI-protected monuments across the state.
Further boosting tourism investments, the Chief Minister will present a Letter of Award (LoA) to Vinayak Kalani for two major projects — a golf course in Raisen district and a wellness resort in Khandwa district.
In a move to expand tourism promotion through digital channels, the state government will sign MoUs with several organisations, including Curly Tales (a leading influencer marketing agency), Balaji Telefilms, and the Atavi Bird Foundation. These partnerships are part of a broader strategy to tap into influencer and content-driven marketing for increased visibility.
The event will also feature the release of the Impact Assessment Report of the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy, providing insights into the policy’s effectiveness and future scope. Additionally, a new international television commercial (TVC) showcasing Madhya Pradesh as a travel destination will be officially launched.
To further enhance tourism infrastructure and connectivity, Letters of Award will be presented to Ease My Trip for setting up and operating tent cities at Hanumantiya, Mandu, and Tamiya, and to Aagman for establishing a tent city in Orchha. Additionally, Jetserve Aviation Pvt. Ltd. and Trans Bharat Aviation Pvt. Ltd. will receive LoAs to initiate helicopter services, aimed at improving access to tourist destinations across the state.
The Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart continues to serve as a strategic platform for networking, policy-making, and promoting tourism-based development, with this year’s edition promising to drive new collaborations and investment opportunities for the state.
