Mumbai, Feb 12: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), a leading AACSB accredited business school in India, successfully hosted TEDxBIMTECH at its campus. This empowering platform brought together 9 distinguished speakers to share their insights around the theme “Decoding Tomorrow”.
TED is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to discovering, debating and spreading ideas that spark conversation, deepen understanding and drive meaningful change. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience, where x = independently organized event. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
The visionary day explored the future of human well-being, technological growth, and innovation in life with experts who have conquered arenas to boardrooms and from culture to wellness.
The eminent personalities included Deepa Krishnan (Head of Marketing- Real Estate, Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors), Sarika Malik (Professional Indian Wrestler), Buland Himalay (Voice of the Himalayas), and Annu Grover, Founder & CEO, Nurturing Green.

Deepa Krishnan, Head of Marketing- Real Estate, Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors, captivated the audience at TEDxBIMTECH with her insights on the “5 Mantras of an Innovation Mindset.” Emphasising the need for a “beta brain,” she encouraged individuals to stay curious, experimental and open to continuous learning in an ever-evolving world.
Annu Grover, Founder & CEO, Nurturing Green, said,
“Our goal is to reach every home with a plant and promote the concept of green gifting – ‘Gift a Plant.’ The idea of gifting a plant has been the driving force behind this venture.”
Sarika Malik, Professional Indian Wrestler emphasized that while setbacks such as failure, injury, or loss may break momentum and identity, it is this inner “1% mind” that enables individuals to rise again, rebuild themselves, and move forward when giving up feels easier.
