Brussels, Mar 24: Radisson Hotel Group has announced a strong close to 2025, recording over 272 new hotel signings and openings, reinforcing its position as a leading, owner-centric hospitality group and setting the stage for continued expansion in 2026 and beyond.

The Group maintained its leadership in Europe’s upper-upscale segment, with Radisson Blu retaining its position as the region’s largest upper-upscale brand, present in 154 cities. Additionally, the brand continued to dominate the resort segment, with Radisson Blu resorts spanning 27 destinations across Europe.

Strategic Partnerships and Expansion

During the year, Radisson Hotel Group strengthened its global footprint through strategic partnerships and key signings. Notable developments include The Medlock, a Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Stadium, collaborations with MIMCO Group for “The Butler” project, and the signing of Radisson Hotel Cannes Seaside with Byron Gestion.

The Group also highlighted strong owner relationships, with 65% of its owners operating multiple properties within its portfolio—underscoring long-term trust and collaboration.

Sustainability Leadership

Sustainability remained a cornerstone of Radisson Hotel Group’s growth strategy. The company pioneered the industry’s first Verified Net Zero hotels, including:

  • Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre
  • Radisson RED Oslo City Centre

These properties set new benchmarks for environmentally responsible hospitality, reflecting the Group’s commitment to reducing carbon impact and future-proofing assets.

Global Growth Highlights

China:
The Group recorded significant expansion with 170 hotel signings and openings, bringing its pipeline close to 300 properties. Growth was driven largely by midscale and upper midscale segments, led by Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.

India:
India emerged as one of the most dynamic markets, with the Group surpassing 200 hotels in operation and under development, supported by strong domestic travel demand and economic growth.

EMEA Region:
Across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Radisson Hotel Group achieved around 70 signings and openings, with a focus on key markets including the UK, France, Germany, Poland, and Southern Europe.

Resort Portfolio Expansion

Leisure-led growth remained a key driver, with the Group’s global resort portfolio exceeding 160 properties. Key developments include:

  • Atiara Ubud Bali, a Radisson Collection Resort
  • Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Çeşme
  • Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels
