Visakhapatnam, Sep 17: This September, guests in Visakhapatnam can experience a little slice of Goa without leaving the coast. The Bheemili Resort, managed by Accor, is bringing the celebratory spirit of Goa to the coast with its Sao Joao Festival, taking place from 18th to 25th September 2026 at The Square – Food Outside the Box.
Drawing inspiration from Goa’s much-loved Sao Joao traditions, the festival will bring together the flavours, music, décor and festive energy of Goan celebrations for a week-long dining experience. The occasion is centred around the spirit of coming together, offering families, friends and food enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon inspired by Goa’s rich coastal culture.
From the festive setting to the culinary experience, every element of the celebration is designed to capture the easy-going warmth and communal spirit that make Sao Joao a distinctive Goan tradition. Set within the coastal surroundings of Bheemili, the festival also creates a natural connection between two destinations known for their seaside character.
