ACSC x ReachOut Gallery’s “Face Is Form” Dazzles Mumbai’s Aesthetic Scene

Mumbai, Jan 30: In a n ight where art and aesthetics danced in perfect harmony, ACSC and ReachOut Gallery, curated Face Is Form- an exclusive, invitation-only event that set Mumbai’s creative pulse racing. The collaboration brought together two visionaries from the worlds of facial aesthetics and contemporary art, promising guests not just an evening but an experience that ignited conversation, creativity, and contemplation.

“Face Is Form” transcended the idea of a conventional exhibition, evolving into a compelling dialogue between art and facial aesthetics. Rather than viewing the face through the lens of perfection, the showcase invited audiences to engage with it as a living form- shaped by anatomy, lived experience and emotion. By seamlessly weaving together scientific precision and artistic interpretation, the exhibition revealed the human face as a powerful site of expression, identity, and meaning.

The event opened with an intimate fireside chat in which Dr Yash Mehta, Facial plastic surgeon and Founder of ACSC and Dr Gnana, a celebrated Singapore-based artist, explored the delicate intersection of their crafts. From the precision of facial harmony to the emotional resonance of artistic expression, the conversation revealed Dr. Yash talked about balance and restraint and Dr. Gnana talking about breaking the rules. As Dr. Yash put it, “Aesthetic work should feel thoughtful and almost invisible. It’s about understanding and respecting what’s already there.”

Guests then dove hands-first into creativity with a workshop led by Dr. Gnana, imprinting and painting faces on tote bags, a playful reminder that every face is unique, every expression a work of art. With Dr. Gnana painting live, the energy in the room was electric, every stroke echoing the night’s ethos: meaning is born in freedom and personal interpretation.

As conversations flowed and the boundaries between science and art dissolved, “Face Is Form” affirmed ACSC’s reputation as a pioneer in India’s aesthetic landscape, one that champions education, individuality, and authenticity over fleeting trends.
