New Delhi, Aug 24: The three-day 9th International Health & Wellness Expo (IHWE) 2026, organised by Namo Gange Trust at Hall No. 12, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, concluded on Sunday with a focus on AYUSH, preventive healthcare, integrated medicine, nutrition, wellness and healthy lifestyles.
Held from August 21 to 23, the international expo brought together more than 100 national and international exhibitors, 10,000 visitors, over 1,000 buyers and more than 150 expert speakers, according to the organisers. Healthcare professionals, doctors, researchers, industry representatives, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders participated in various sessions and business interactions.
The final day featured an AYUSH conference with a special focus on homeopathy, while the exhibition area witnessed strong visitor participation across various stalls.
The expo also highlighted the growing interest in traditional Indian food and healthier lifestyle choices. ‘Kaki Maa’ healthy pickles and sattu attracted considerable attention from visitors, with the traditional products showcasing the connection between Indian food heritage, nutrition and wellness.
Kaki Maa founder Anshu Jha said the products are prepared in Patna, Bihar, using traditional methods. The pickles are prepared with homemade spices and mustard oil, while the sattu is made through a traditional process involving soaking, drying, roasting and grinding chickpeas in a traditional stone mill.
The product packaging featuring Mithila paintings also added a cultural dimension to the traditional food products.
The expo was held alongside the 18th Arogya Conference, which featured discussions on evidence-based traditional medicine, preventive healthcare, integrated healthcare, Ayurveda, homeopathy, nutrition and holistic health. Speakers emphasised scientific research, evidence-based treatment, quality education and stronger integration of traditional systems with modern healthcare.
Other key forums included the Healthcare Innovation Summit, Global Wellness Leadership Forum and Wellness & AYUSH Leadership Forum, covering digital health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, preventive medicine, nutrition, wellness tourism and AYUSH.
The concluding day also witnessed the Namo Gange Global Health Excellence Awards 2026, recognising individuals and institutions for contributions to healthcare, AYUSH, wellness, research and innovation.
Namo Gange Trust Chairman Vijay Sharma said IHWE aims to promote knowledge-sharing, innovation, business collaboration, investment and global partnerships in the health and wellness sector. He said India has the potential to emerge as a global leader in AYUSH, traditional medicine, natural health resources and holistic wellness.
