Jaipur/ Delhi , Feb 12:
Emphasising the strong policy alignment between the Union Budget 2026–27 and the Rajasthan State Budget, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Director of the RSWM Bhilwara Group, commended both the Central and State governments for advancing a shared development vision. He stated that the convergence of priorities in manufacturing, infrastructure, MSMEs, and employment generation reflects a coordinated and forward-looking governance approach.

According to Jhunjhunwala, the Union Budget places significant emphasis on capital expenditure, manufacturing expansion, MSME empowerment, export promotion, logistics reforms, and green energy investments. Complementing this, the Rajasthan Government has focused on balanced urban and rural development, infrastructure strengthening, industrial connectivity, and attracting fresh investments. Together, these measures demonstrate alignment not only at the policy level but also in execution.
He expressed appreciation for Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership and acknowledged Deputy Chief Minister (Finance) Diya Kumari for presenting what he described as a growth-oriented State Budget. The clear emphasis on promoting manufacturing, supporting MSMEs, enhancing ease of doing business, and creating employment opportunities has reinforced confidence within the industrial community, he noted.
Jhunjhunwala highlighted that Bhilwara, widely recognised as one of India’s leading textile hubs, stands to benefit directly from this integrated budgetary vision. Initiatives such as technology upgradation, modernisation of machinery, infrastructure expansion, logistics support, and skill development will strengthen the operational capacity of textile units. This, in turn, is expected to enhance global competitiveness while generating new employment opportunities.
He further observed that encouragement for fresh investments, value addition, and greater adoption of green energy solutions will provide renewed momentum to Bhilwara’s industrial ecosystem. Increased export potential, he added, will contribute significantly to strengthening the region’s economic base.
Jhunjhunwala also thanked BJP State President Madan Rathore, stating that a positive industrial environment has been cultivated in Rajasthan. Initiatives such as the Rajasthan Pravasi Sammelan have successfully reached out to entrepreneurs beyond the State, encouraging investment participation. He expressed confidence that with the continued support of the double-engine government, Bhilwara’s textile sector will further consolidate its national and global position while contributing meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
