Mumbai, July 31: K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, the flagship autonomous institution guided by the Hinduja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Hinduja Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen industry-academia collaboration. The partnership aims to enhance students’ exposure by providing industry-relevant learning, practical experience and a global perspective, preparing them to navigate the evolving demands of the business landscape.
As part of the collaboration, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry will support the College in designing and enriching industry-aligned academic courses across fields ensuring they are in sync with evolving industry trends and workforce requirements. The partnership will also explore joint short-term certificate programmes across management, manufacturing and MSME-focused domains.
Commenting on the announcement, Dr. Navin Punjabi, Principal, K.P.B. The association will also facilitate expert lectures, seminars, conferences and other knowledge-sharing initiatives that foster stronger engagement between academia and industry.
