Mahabaleshwar’s Hospitality Trailblazers Recognized At 6th HRAWI Conclave And Awards

Mumbai, Mar 02: The Hotel And Restaurant Association HRAWI hosted the 6th edition of its HRAWI Conclave and Awards for ‘Empowering Hospitality’ on February 26 at the Ramsukh Resorts & Spa in Mahabaleshwar. The prestigious ceremony recognised outstanding contributions across categories including innovation, leadership, sustainability, legacy and operational excellence across the hospitality sector in Mahabaleshwar. The event honoured individuals and establishments whose dedication and vision have significantly raised industry standards and inspired growth across the region. Mr Jayasinh Mariwala, Chairman, OmniActive Health Technologies, Food Service (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Autohangar India Pvt Ltd., graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was felicitated by the Association.

Special awards were presented to Dr Prem Nipun Seth, an experienced paediatrician associated with Bombay Hospital for supporting healthcare initiatives and community welfare; Mr Sanjay Parthe, Sahyadri Adventure Trekers & Sport Association, Mahabaleshwar and Bel – Air Hospital and Health Resort for their outstanding contributions and selfless service in the Mahabaleshwar–Panchgani region.

In a special gesture, HRAWI felicitated Mr Pralhad Rathi, Owner of Ramsukh Resorts & Spa and President of Mahabaleshwar Hotel Restaurant Association; Mr Javed Sunesara, President, Panchgani Hotels and Welfare Association (PHWA) and Mr Vijay Shewakramani, Managing Director, Brightland Resort & Spa, for their continued contributions to the hospitality landscape of the region.

Prior to the awards ceremony, the gathering engaged in insightful knowledge sessions covering critical industry topics such as Legal Issues in Food Safety and Pest Control, and the DPDP Act & Information Security, reinforcing HRAWI’s commitment to continuous learning and regulatory preparedness.

The 6th HRAWI Conclave and Awards marked yet another milestone in the Association’s legacy of recognising excellence, having previously been successfully hosted in Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Nashik, Lonavala and Indore.
