Gurugram, 08 September 2026: Stupa Sports, the leading global AI-powered sports technology and analytics firm, today announced a strategic partnership with D–Joy Pickleball, a professional pickleball club, training academy and tournament organiser based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to power two major pickleball events in 2026 with its AI-driven sports technology solutions. The partnership will see Stupa Sports deploy its technology at the D–Joy Pickleball Tour – Leg 3, scheduled from 9th–13th September 2026, followed by the D–Joy Vietnam Masters 2026, taking place from 24th–29th November 2026. The collaboration also extends into 2027, with Stupa Sports and D–Joy Pickleball signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to bring Stupa‘s technology across D–Joy‘s upcoming pickleball events next year.
As part of the partnership, Stupa Sports will provide an integrated technology ecosystem across both tournaments, combining AI-powered officiating, real-time performance intelligence, and broadcast data to enhance how pickleball is officiated, analysed, and presented to players, coaches, organisers, and audiences.
The technology deployment will include:
-
AI-powered VAR (Video Assistant Referee): Stupa Sports‘ AI-powered VAR will assist officials with critical line and match decisions, bringing greater accuracy, consistency and transparency to officiating.
-
Live & Post-Match Analytics: Stupa‘s Match Analytics platform will provide real-time and post-match insights across key areas of player and match performance, including serving and returning, rally patterns, shot performance, errors, point distribution, leads and winning patterns. The data will provide players, coaches, commentators and fans with deeper insights into match dynamics and performance.
-
Data for 3D Broadcast Graphics: Stupa Sports will provide real-time match data to power dynamic 3D graphics for live broadcasts, enabling richer visual storytelling and giving audiences a deeper understanding of the action as matches unfold.
The collaboration comes as pickleball continues to expand rapidly across Asia and globally, with technology increasingly becoming an important part of professional competition. By integrating AI-powered officiating, match intelligence and broadcast data into its events, D–Joy aims to deliver a more consistent and engaging experience while providing athletes and coaches with deeper insights into performance.
Megha Gambhir, Co-Founder & CEO, Stupa Sports, on the partnership said, “Pickleball is evolving rapidly as a global sport, and technology will play an important role in shaping how the game is officiated, analysed and experienced. Our partnership with D–Joy Pickleball allows us to bring together AI-powered VAR, real-time match intelligence, and broadcast data across two important tournaments, while also laying the foundation for a longer-term collaboration. We are excited to support D–Joy as it continues to develop professional pickleball in Vietnam and look forward to expanding this collaboration across its events in the years ahead.”
Sharing his views on this partnership, Hoang Hai Thuy, Tournament Director at D–Joy Pickleball, stated, “This partnership marks an important milestone for D–Joy as we integrate Stupa Sports‘ cutting-edge AI technology into our tournaments.
