IRHPL Launches Two New Homegrown Concepts at Delhi Airport: La Mourde Choc and Lumière

New Delhi, June 04: IRHPL has announced the launch of two new proprietary retail concepts at Delhi Airport’s T2 Terminal, La Mourde Choc and Lumière, marking a significant expansion of the company’s portfolio of homegrown brands and reinforcing its commitment to elevating the airport retail experience for the modern Indian traveller.

The dual launch reflects IRHPL’s growing ambition to move beyond conventional airport retail and build original concepts that combine global curation with a distinct emotional connection to the customer. La Mourde Choc, the company’s 7th own concept, brings premium confectionery to life across both domestic departure and arrival at T2. Lumière, the 8th, offers a carefully assembled luxury eyewear experience at the domestic departure terminal-2.

La Mourde Choc: Where Every Journey Gets a Little Sweeter

La Mourde Choc is a destination built around the idea that confectionery, at its best, carries memory, emotion, and story alongside the flavour. The store brings together the largest curated range of Indian and international chocolate brands available at any single airport retail location in the country. For the traveller picking up a last-minute gift or simply indulging between flights, the offering spans every need and every generation. What sets the concept apart, however, is the thinking behind the curation.

The Nostalgia Range is the most distinctive element of La Mourde Choc. It brings back products that many shoppers had assumed were gone: Phantom sweet cigarettes, Stick Jaw toffees sourced from Dehradun, and Ooty Chocolates, each carrying the particular weight of a childhood memory.

Lumière: Sunglasses as Self-Expression

The second launch, Lumière, approaches luxury eyewear with a similar philosophy: that what a customer picks up at an airport should feel considered, not convenient.

Located at T2 Domestic Departure, Lumière houses one of the most comprehensive portfolios of premium and luxury eyewear brands available in Indian airport retail. The collection spans multiple tiers, from enduring everyday icons like Ray-Ban to sports performance leaders Oakley and Maui Jim, premium fashion labels including Michael Kors and Emporio Armani, and a luxury and ultra-luxury tier featuring Versace, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Tom Ford, and DITA.

The range has been curated with a clear editorial intent. Each brand earns its place not simply because of its name but because of what it represents in terms of design, craftsmanship, and the kind of customer who reaches for it. The result is a store that functions less like a conventional retail space and more like a curated gallery, where customers can move through different aesthetic worlds and find the frame that genuinely speaks to them.

“Eyewear is one of those rare accessories that sits at the intersection of function and identity,” said Mr Naresh Sharma, CEO of IRHPL (Group of Companies). “At Lumière, we wanted to create a space where that choice felt meaningful, not rushed. The airport gives us a captive audience of style-conscious travellers, and we want to give them an experience that matches their expectations, from the moment they walk in to the moment they find the right pair.”

A Growing Portfolio, A Clear Vision

With eight proprietary concepts now operational, IRHPL is building a retail identity that goes well beyond distribution and franchising. La Mourde Choc and Lumière are expressions of that identity: original in concept, deliberate in curation, and designed around the kind of experience that gives travellers a reason to seek them out rather than simply walk past.

Both stores are now open at Indira Gandhi International Airport’s T2 Terminal.
