AI-powered radiology startup with first-of-its-kind lung cancer software shares team growth
SEATTLE, WA – (Nov. 3, 2026) – RevealDx, a leader in AI characterization of lung nodules, today announces the appointment of Medical Advisor Ryan Brevard M.D. to Director of Clinical Programs, and medtech and startup executive David Austin as the company’s Vice President of Sales.
American Board of Emergency Medicine Certified, Dr. Brevard has over 23 years working in critical care and emergency medicine practice and has spent the last four as a Medical Advisor to RevealDx. As Director of Clinical Programs, Dr. Brevard will work with hospitals and radiology groups to build lung nodule programs around RevealAI-Lung, bringing a referring physician’s view of what a radiology report needs to say to change a patient’s care.
Transitioning from his previous role to the now Director of Clinical Programs, Ryan Brevard M.D. explains that, “Having advised RevealDx through FDA clearance, I’m honored to now lead the clinical programs that bring RevealAI-Lung to hospitals and radiology groups, so patients with an incidental lung nodule get an answer from their first CT instead of waiting months for a repeat scan.”
These new appointments demonstrate a period of significant growth for the company after attaining FDA clearance earlier this year for nodule risk assessment with RevealAI-Lung, heading toward other regulatory milestones of its kind for other upcoming products.
Joining RevealDx as Vice President of Sales, David Austin brings nearly 30 years of commercial leadership experience, with deep expertise in diagnostic imaging, radiology, and medical technology commercialization. He previously held senior sales leadership roles at Siemens Healthineers and Hologic and has a proven track record of building sales organizations, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving growth for emerging healthcare technology companies. Most recently, he served as a Fractional Chief Sales Officer with Chief Outsiders, advising small and mid-sized businesses on commercial strategy and revenue growth.
