SAMIL Reports Highest Ever Quarterly Revenue, Growing 17 percent YoY, with Resilient Profitability Despite Input Cost Pressures

Aug 06: Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) today announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, which ended on 30th June 2026. 

Commenting on the results, Mr. Vivek Chaand Sehgal, Chairman, Motherson, said,

Key Highlights 

  1. Highest ever quarterly revenues driven by healthy performance across businesses.
  2. Leverage Ratio at a comfortable 0.8x, providing ample capacity to pursue both organic and inorganic growth.
  3. 03 plants operationalised during the quarter; 13 plants at different stages of completion.
  4. Capex of INR 1,614 Crores for Q1FY27, in-line with growth priorities and yearly guidance of INR 6,000 Crores +/- 10%.
  5. 1 new acquisition of Shenzhen Autocruis announced during the quarter; acquisitions of Wiring Harness business of Nexans Autoelectric and Yutaka Giken were completed in July 2026.
