Amity honours its brilliant student achievers of Competitive Examinations during a Grand Felicitation Ceremony

 

 

Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations, (AICE), organised a grand Felicitation Ceremony to honour its brilliant student achievers for their outstanding performance in NEET, JEE Advance, Olympiads and Maths Test Series.

Encouraging the students, Chief Guest Dr. Himani Ahluwali, Director, Lady Hardinge Medical College, averred, “It is heartening to see students performing exceptionally well at such a young age. Students must take lead in research and innovation and create path-breaking innovations which can benefit the country.” She called upon the students to be happy, healthy, introspect and keep learning throughout their lives.

Addressing the students, Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools, stated, “We are immensely proud of our students who have performed brilliantly in the country’s most prestigious competitive examinations, JEE, NEET and AICE’s Olympiads and Maths Test Series. Behaviour is greater than knowledge and it is behavioural science which makes a person successful. I congratulate our students, their parents, our faculty and staff for their relentless hard work and dedication since they have played a vital role in the students’ success and I wish our young achievers huge success in all their future endeavours.”

Guest of Honour, Prof. (Dr.) Smriti Srivastava, Dean Academics- Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), noted that students must not only focus on getting awards and medals, rather they should develop their ability to think, analyse, innovate and experiment. She also said that textbook knowledge is not enough, students must imbibe practical knowledge, dream big and remain humble.

Congratulating the students on their remarkable accomplishments, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, averred, “Success is achieved through perseverance, discipline and a commitment to continuous learning.” He emphasized that imagination, creativity and ambition has no end. He advised the students to strive for excellence and use their knowledge to contribute to the development of the country.

Sharing his views on the occasion, Padma Shri prof. (Dr.) Y.S. Rajan, Former Executive Director of Technology Information and Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), opined that there is no dearth of opportunities for students today, and they can make a career in any field. “India is a major growth centre and there are multiple opportunities available for the students to contribute to nation-building.”, he added.

Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President-Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation, motivated the students to keep working hard and shining bright in their lives and career.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Meenakshi Rawal, Director- AICE, said, “Students are the leaders of tomorrow and AICE strives to make the students future-ready. AICE is not only for school students but it has also launched programmes for students of higher education. The remarkable achievements of our students reaffirm the strength of the academic ecosystem at Amity, where innovation, research-oriented learning and holistic development go hand in hand.”

During the Felicitation Ceremony, Amity Alumni including Dr. Savyasachi Jain, Assistant Faculty Doctor AIIMS, Dr. Raghavi Maheshwari, Consultant- Medanta Hospital Noida, Dr. Ankur Chinkara, Senior Physician, Safdarjung Hospital, Ms. Kanika Mohan, Deputy General Manager, Bharti Airtel, and others were also felicitated. The Alumni expressed their gratitude to Amity for being instrumental in shaping their career.
